Extreme Poverty and Hunger

I know posting this don’t help any of them but definitely they are heart touching

When you look again to these photos, you will discover a lot of feelings behind the photos of these children, it may drive you to act to help or just show some sympathy, but I am sure it will provide you a new experience. However, please tell me about your comments about the below photos.

The grand majority of kids living in Sítio Joaninha live in utmost poverty.

...with an unselfish love I respect you.................

Tamira’s cousin, Emily, is one of many family members in this extremely large family group, who live secluded in the woods surrounding Sítio Joaninha. Their little, invaded small-holding is not what it used to be when grandpa was alive and managed to keep everything and everyone well-organized. And now after grandma passed away only a few months ago, it seems that nobody really cares how decadent their home is becoming. At least the fruit trees grandpa planted many years ago still offer some console to his many grandchildren like Emily here, who has obviously enjoyed some of the black, juicy berries of theAmora tree.

but far too many special needs children in Brazil, like Laís and Daniele from the Sítio Joaninha, still don’t receive the necessary attention they should be getting for their developmental disabilities. 11-year old Daniele is still waiting for a place in the council’s special education unit for deaf and dumb children so that she can go to school. Luckily, they have caring family members in their cousinsTamiris, Emily and Stefanie, but that still doesn’t exclude the fact that our public health and educational systems are in dire need of reform.
Until then, children like Laís and Daniele will have to make best out of what our new community prevention centre, soon to open in their community, has to offer them. At least they will receive lots of creative stimulus from our youth leaders, surely necessary for their positive development.

Look deeper into my eyes...
...and tell me all you see...............

Don't just whine about issues. Get up and take action to make a better world.”

Manea's dream is to go back to Romania and find his mother. He smiles inside his beard, looking upward

Manea is currently homeless and thinks his mother may be dead, or worse, she may not remember him.

Unfortunately, poverty is still eminent in large parts of the world. More awareness and involvement from the rich might eradicate the inequality.

at the Petals school in Ngchoni, Kenya

“This boy seemed a bit different from the others. He seemed to think and have some sort of individuality. He will have tough odds to face to keep them as he grows. Poverty, lack of good education, religious leaders drumming up paranoia and above all a world suspicious of him just because he is a Muslim

“these kids, who lived in a tattered shanty at a squatters area in manila, had to wait anxiously for their mother as she tried to make a meager living washing clothes.”

Eliminating poverty is the biggest challenge. almost half the world’s population (2 billion people) struggle for survive. Many cannot meet basic needs for food, water, shelter, sanitation, and health care The desperately poor, deprived of education, health, home and opportunity to work, face starvation, disease and death each day of their short life. Such global poverty is the mother of conflict, terrorism and migration that threaten peace and security for the rest of us. How can we end this injustice of poverty that violates human dignity of so many? did this small children made a mistake ?
